Relaxing 3 bedroom 2 bath home tucked among the palm trees on majestic Caney Creek in Sargent, Texas. Welcome to Palm Haven! Enjoy fishing on the expansive lighted dock equipped with a new first class fish cleaning station or bring your binoculars and observe some of the greatest bird watching on the gulf coast! The sprawling backyard is ideal for family games and barbeques.
The game room is perfect for keeping the kids entertained with foosball, board games or a movie when inside. When night falls the adults can take over the game room’s poker table complete with cards and poker chips while others lounge on the comfy sectional and enjoy a movie in the spacious living room as the delectable smell of fresh popped popcorn fills the house from the old fashioned popcorn machine!
Everyone congregates in the kitchen and this one is big enough for the whole family to pitch in and cook up the day’s catch! The kitchen offers abundant counter space, new appliances and everything the cook in the family needs to whip up a gourmet meal! The expansive sit down bar is open to the dining and living room for that open concept feel.
In the Master Bedroom wake each morning to views of the creek from the King sized bed thoughtfully appointed with Tommy Bahama bedding. While listening to the boats go by, curl up with a book on the cozy futon which also serves as additional sleeping in the master bedroom. The master has its own private bathroom and shower.
A colorful second bedroom has 3 twin beds perfect for the kids. The serene third bedroom is decorated in soft blue tones and has another comfy king sized bed ideal for a second couple or a quiet escape for an afternoon nap. A delightfully decorated second full bath at the end of the hall is shared by the other two bedrooms.
You will find ample parking in front and to the side of the home. The driveway was thoughtfully designed with boats and trailers in mind for easy maneuvering. There is also parking across the street, if needed.
Palm Haven is located in the deed restricted community of Caney Creek Haven. There is a private boat ramp just a short two minute drive up the road available to all guests.
A short 15 minute boat ride from your private dock will take you to one of the several local bait camps. Traveling on another few minutes will take you to local restaurants, an offshore adventure in the Gulf of Mexico or world famous bay fishing in East Matagorda Bay.

Summary: Everything about our stay was perfect. They provide everything you need for a great get away. They have the best little coffee bar and love the extras they put in the bathrooms. They provide little things to make you feel special and welcome. We have stayed before and already have our next trip in July booked.

Summary: We came to the property for a short spring break vacation. There was plenty of space for all seven of us even with the size of the house. Debbie made sure we had everything that we needed for the trip. The kids loved the swing out back and the game room, which was a pleasant surprise. The guys had a great time fishing out on the large dock. The only thing I would suggest is a handheld shower head for the second bathroom. The shower was a little tight for some of the adults, and I think that would help. All in all the family had a great time!

Summary: This property was awesome! Owners were so kind and accommodating! Property was very clean and well taken care of. The backyard was a little oasis on the water! We were able to catch some crab in the crab traps, fish on the dock and kayak! Inside included so many extras like bath products and a popcorn machine to make the stay extra special! Would definitely recommend staying here! The owners will definitely go out if their way to take care of you!!!

Summary: the house was perfect for 3 couples. one of the best set up vacation rental homes we have ever stayed in. the kitchen was well equipped and the bathrooms had everything you could possibly need. loved the poker table and popcorn maker that we put to good use. The home has been updated nicely and is decorated very well. king bed in main bedroom was very comfortable with great pillows and sheets. our favorite part of the stay was sitting out on the lawn in the shade near the water. so peaceful and relaxing. I caught about a 15 lb black drum. What fun it was to reel it in! We will be back. Great hosts. no complaints.

Summary: We had a fabulous time at palm haven. The house was nice and clean. They provide extras to make the stay that much more enjoyable. The washer and dryer was a huge plus. The kids loved the game room with candy machines and popcorn machine. The poker table was great for them to play games on. The owners were great and easy to communicate with. We will definitely be back. I would highly recommend this house.

Summary: First time to Sargent and this place set the bar high for potential future stays in the area. Quiet neighborhood and plenty of parking on site. House was inviting and provided all the extras a traveler may forget. Nice sized fenced backyard with a deck on the creek, good for fishing and crabbing. Beach access about 15 minutes down the road & over the bridge. Host was amazing & timely with the occasional assistance we needed.
